Pre-Employment & Work Goals

Hi, I’m Anna! It’s important to develop goals for what you want to do when you progress from high school to life after high school, like where you might like to work, and learning skills to be as independent as possible. For example, a goal in your IEP might be to learn phone communication or cooking skills, or how to navigate your school independently.
Goals are unique to every student, making goals that are all about you will help you be more successful after you leave high school. Speak with your case manager at school to include pre-employment goals in your IEP.
