Pre-Employment Services
Hey, I’m Jayden! “Pre-Employment Services” is just a fancy way of saying there are people who help students with disabilities get ready for work after high school. They teach important skills like finding a job, choosing a career, and more. Students can also learn how to travel to work, practice social skills, and build confidence. These programs make it easier to go from school to a job!

Practical Assessment Exploration System (PAES) Labs
PAES Labs help students learn in a hands-on way about different jobs and see what they’re good at and what they like. In the lab, students act like they are at a real job. They punch in and out on a time clock, follow work rules, and try different tasks in areas like computers, construction, cooking, and customer service to learn what they might need help with.
PAES also tracks important work skills like following directions, being safe, and getting along with others. The lab helps students get ready for real jobs in the future or learn what added training they may need.
